Chrono Bank

Terms of Use

Last updated 26 May 2026.

By creating an account or using Chrono Bank, you agree to these Terms. If you don't agree, don't create an account.

Accounts

Each person may hold one personal account. You're responsible for the activity on your account and for keeping your sign-in secure.

The two rules

Enforcement

If you break these rules, we may suspend all of your accounts. You may appeal a suspension, and we may reinstate your primary account at our discretion.

How the currency works

Universal income and demurrage are properties of the Chrono Bank system, not fees we charge. Balances are public; transaction details are private. Funds in transit sit in escrow until the reversal window closes. See About for details.

Beta service, no warranty

Chrono Bank is an experimental open beta, provided "as is" without warranties. It is not a bank or a deposit account, and Chronos are not legal tender and are not backed by any government. The service may change, pause, or end, and balances are subject to the system's rules (such as demurrage).

Changes

We may update these Terms. Continued use after a change means you accept the updated Terms.
